He's run away

Look who's finally run from home.
Its silly, but there it is,
with hope and forethought,
aspiration and what naught,
I can see, he's run from home.

Ready for his own life,
with his own dreams;
making it with his own skills -
with his own beliefs,
and making it work.

Fish-sun

A fish leaps up out of the sea, and flies across the sky.
It lands in oceans far away, but while it sails it shines.
Drops of life fall in its wake, showering all below.
As they fall they grow tails that flutter in the wind,
and aim themselves to spread life where they land.
Left and right they see their peers in much the same flow,
looking down they see the Earth reach up to meet their cause,
looking up they see their creator continue on without pause;
for naught can stop this determined spreader of life
from flying his course every day without change.

Navigating the Path

The beauty of any scene from nature cannot completely be translated into words. When writing on nature, the goal is to come as close as possible to proving this statement wrong. For the past eight months I have been submerged in the endless depth of beauty and wonder that is Craftsbury Common, Vermont. For the past two weeks, I have been trying to translate some of its beauty into words.
Luckily, the past two weeks were late April and early May, and the weather is apparently sympathetic to my cause. Many days have been warm and dry, only a few showing the usual volatile nature of the weather here. The part of nature I wished to tran

i had to go to a photo editer on my computer to brighten it up some because i couldn't really tell what it was but i liked it a lot once i got it brighter.
